Biography

Stacey Richman, Esq. is committed to the defense of others and to the Constitution of the United States. Stacey is a trial lawyer and has been in practice for more than 25 years. She has been raised in the law as the daughter of "Don't Worry Murray" Richman. To assure herself of her independence and skill she left New York to practice in California for five years where she practiced entertainment and business litigation. She won an argument against major firms at the California Court of Appeals and tried a case historic to the development of radio station hegemony. Stacey returned to New York as she perceived that working for the freedom of others was far more important than civil litigation: one never knows how many days there are; if you can save one person, even one day you have saved a world of possibility.

Her worlds came together in New York for the combination of her fields, as "entertainers can sometimes find themselves in criminal situations and criminals can be very entertaining." Trial and the ability to master that realm provides possibilities for optimal resolutions. To be respected and feared in battle provides the respect in diplomacy that is necessary to negotiation. She has tried over a hundred cases from mayhem to murder. She is respected by her colleagues not only for her skill but for her compassion. Stacey has represented many celebrities, business personages and most importantly, every type of person.

Having caught the attention of many of her colleagues, she was named as one of the "top hot new attorneys in the Criminal Justice area" by the New York Post (November 26, 2000). In late, 2011, Stacey partnered with Renee Hill, Esq. to form Richman Hill & Associates, PLLC. Stacey appears on CNN to provide legal commentary on legal cases on the national stage. She has appeared as well on Court TV, Fox and NBC. She is an adjunct professor at Cardozo School of Law and recently lectured by invitation at the University of Buffalo Law School. Stacey regularly lectures in Continuing Education Courses and is committed to mentorship.
